Katie is one of our most successful breeding females and show dogs. With two Challenge Certificates to her name and three litters producing exceptional puppies, she is at the heart of the Alphapups programme.
Her show career has taken her to the highest level of UK competition, winning CCs and placing consistently at Championship Shows. Her type, coat and temperament are everything we strive for in a Havanese, and she passes these qualities reliably to her offspring.
Katie is health tested: her patella scored Grade 0 (Normal) on both sides, her heart tested clear with no murmur detected, and her BVA/KC eye exam found no significant abnormalities (a minor, clinically insignificant lens finding was noted). As Katie is coming to the end of her breeding career with one litter remaining, we felt hip and elbow X-rays weren't a proportionate step for her at this stage — she is otherwise fit, sound and well. Her puppies are much sought after by both show homes and loving pet families.
