Alphapups Flufftail

Born: 13th November 2023 at Alphapups Towers  |  Breeding Female

Poppy is a striking red sable Havanese, home-bred out of our foundation bitch Puplicity Ruby Red Rose at Alphapups and sired by Immeleon Artimis at Havredemer. She has a naturally half tail, which only adds to her charm and makes her instantly recognisable among our girls.

In January 2026, Poppy was paired with our leased American Champion stud, Bobbi (AM CH That's Boy Wonder at Lake Michigan), producing a lovely litter of eight puppies — a wonderful result that speaks to both her quality and her importance to the breeding programme.

Poppy is extensively health tested: patella scored Normal via both the OFA and the Havanese Club of GB scheme (Grade 0 both sides), eyes tested with no abnormalities detected, and clear on Brucella canis screening. Her hip and elbow X-rays (August 2026) are back: elbows are OFA scored Normal, and hips are OFA scored Fair — a passing result, though not her strongest score, and something we'll factor into her future breeding decisions.
